Hi, I'm wondering how I go about obtaining the following information from the apache server. I need to get the remote username and remote auth type if available. I can run the test-cgi script supplied with apache, but when I run it, I only get this information: CGI/1.0 test script report: argc is 0. argv is . SERVER_SOFTWARE = Apache/1.0.2 SERVER_NAME = www.cetlink.net GATEWAY_INTERFACE = CGI/1.1 SERVER_PROTOCOL = HTTP/1.0 SERVER_PORT = 80 REQUEST_METHOD = GET HTTP_ACCEPT = image/gif, image/x-xbitmap, image/jpeg, image/pjpeg, */* PATH_INFO = PATH_TRANSLATED = SCRIPT_NAME = /cgi-bin/test-cgi QUERY_STRING = REMOTE_HOST = tad.cetlink.net REMOTE_ADDR = 206.31.105.10 REMOTE_USER = REMOTE_IDENT = AUTH_TYPE = CONTENT_TYPE = CONTENT_LENGTH = How can I get the missing fields? Any help is *greatly* appreciated. -jeff
