Hmm well maybe rateup crashing isn't a result of 0 being returned.. Check
this out I have two nearly identical configs, only one is a different
router and port.  Once crashes rateup (8) and the other works...

I hacked a neat little script that, through snmpwalk, finds the indexing
numbers for the serial names, as well as the speed, but these are custom
calues I've tried - the script-generated values crash as well.
