Whoa... no, I changed it the other way.
It was (by mistake) installing C++ files in /usr/include instead of
/usr/include/g++.  That was a major mistake because of name conflicts
(which is yet another bug, but I figured I'd let you worry about that :-) ).

  Hmm, I'm not sure that I like this.  On 1.1.5.1 there are 188 files in
  /usr/include/g++, as opposed to 88 files, directories and symlinks in
  /usr/include.
  
  I think this is just going to make /usr/include a *real* mess.
