AWESOME! That worked. I have a follow-up question worth $1,000,000 dollars... How can I set this up to be the global setting for all users? I tried adding /etc/Muttrc which the man page says is used for global Mutt settings, but it didn't work. Thanks for your help, rvb David Banning <david@skytrackercanada.com> wrote: >I had this same problem in mutt. >You have to change the "set sendmail_wait" parameter to "set = sendmail_wait=3D-1" >in the .muttrc file. > >On Fri, Jun 29, 2001 at 01:16:02AM -0400, Joseph Gleason wrote: >> Whenever I see 30 second delays anywhere, I always think DNS timeout. >>=20 >> Is there a reverse DNS for the IP address you are connecting from? = What >> about the servers IP address? >>=20 >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "rvb" <rvb01@mediaone.net> >> To: <freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG> >> Sent: Friday, June 29, 2001 00:49 >> Subject: Slow sending of mail... >>=20 >>=20 >> > I am running FreeBSD 4.2 on an PIII/550.
