 FWIW, some quick googling suggests that openbox, like KDE, GNOME and a few 
 desktop environments uses XDG-compliant menus and XDG-compliant WMs/DEs try 
 to parse those. Still I don't know whether KDE's parser or openbox' 
 configuration is at fault here.
