Do you have any experience with assembler? More specifically, Sparc v8 assembler (for the sparc32) or Sparc v9 assembler (for the sparc64) respectively. Kernel programming experience in C will also be needed. www.sparc.org has the sparc v8 and v9 architecture manuals for download in pdf and ps formats. martin. -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-sparc@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-sparc@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Todd Sent: Saturday, 21 July 2001 23:05 To: freebsd-sparc@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: working on the port I was wondering what I can do to join this project. I have some background with C++ and it sounds like this port is at the early stages. Is there anything I can do to join? I can send you more information about me if it is open.
