While trying to find out why my IDE CD-ROM isn't recognized, even though I am running a recent (Aug 21) -current kernel, I found this: - Even though the atapi and wcd drivers are compiled, they don't show up in the device list. - In the file /sys/i386/i386/autoconf.c, in structure try_cdrom[], there is no mention of the wcd device. (Hopefully this explains some of the problems people are having) Can anyone help me with this? -x- Alain
