No, Terry's right, I saw reference to that in Science News, there was some kind of chemical that a leech leaves behind that was actually beneficial to the one who'd just been sucked. They weren't suggesting moving the clock back 200 years, but they were trying to find ways to make use of that chemical in modern medicine.
