Subject:   Limit to number of files in a directory

Is there any limit to the number of files that can be stored in a
directory in FreeBSD ?

We intend to use our FreeBSD machine as an FTP server to store images of

jobs on and estimate somewhere in the area of a million in a single
directory.

Would this cause a problem ?
