I've already talked about this on freebsd-ports, and somebody answered that compiling with -fwritable-strings helped, but I could not try to reproduce it here yet. Running the tests in tcl81 stops with a BusError in stringObj.test, and lots of tests give tre wrong result. I'm concerned if this will go into the 2.2.6 CD.
