Hi ! If I want to produce a debugging kernel the good handbook tells me to do something like this: config -g kconfigfile cd ../../compile/kconfigfile make depend all cp kernel kernel.debug strip -d kernel make install The -d option vanished in an ELF world ... What method is preferred now to get rid of debugging stuff, but still be able to boot the kernel ?!
