I'm sorry let me clarify here: I changed the compiler in the makefile from c++ to g++ to attempt to get around the netinet/in.h error (which I was actually got by with the compiler change, don't ask me why). Which is why I'm weirded out about the errors in the kdebase2 build which uses g++ and still gives me that ANSI C++ error. I'm sure the Makefile has those lines in it (in fact, I just checked it and it does). I got the cvsup from cvsup11.freebsd.org so I'm not guessing that it was a buggy cvsup :/ The only flags in my make.conf are: BDECFLAGS= -W -Wall -ansi -pedantic -Wbad-function-cast -Wcast-align \ -Wcast-qual -Wchar-subscripts -Winline \ -Wmissing-prototypes -Wnested-externs -Wpointer-arith \ -Wredundant-decls -Wshadow -Wstrict-prototypes -Wwrite-strings XFREE86_VERSION= 4 that's it. Thanks, Devon On Thu, 27 Sep 2001, Jonathan Chen wrote: > On Wed, Sep 26, 2001 at 07:50:49PM -0400, Devon O'Dell wrote: > > And, as usual, I forgot the attachment.
