What exactly is the trouble? Are you not able to boot off the disk, or
does it fail while writing to disk, or ??

If you cannot boot off the disk, try making the A: drive bootable in your
CMOS ( usually something like "boot order:C,A", you of course want it to
be "A,C" ...
