I finally found something on the net that was usefull regarding setup of
vinum:

this is a little more reader friendly....I now have the basics down and can
refer to the lemis website for specifics.


One last questions:  Will I have to build the 2 slices and then the volume
first and then copy over /usr ?  Or can it mirror on the fly without me
having to trash the current slice ?

Your question suggests that you haven't read the documentation.  Read
it again and tell me what you don't understand.
