Tonight, I did an ftp install from releng4.freebsd.org , and found that XFree86 was linked against libc.so.3, libtermcap.so.2, and libxpg4.so.2, none of which were in /usr/lib . Linking the missing libs to the current libs got X working. Was this caused by my two day delay in installing the snapshot? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | Jim Hranicky, Senior SysAdmin UF/CISE Department | | E314D CSE Building Phone (352) 392-1499 | | jfh@cise.ufl.edu http://www.cise.ufl.edu/~jfh | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
