Lukas, I see that IBM released new firmware for the T30 on April 2, 2003, but has not released new firmware for the T20 since Dec, 1999! Thee is rather new firmware for the T40, as well, which might fix things. I guess this means that they will release the new ACPI stuff only when they get around to it. Sorry! But keep an eye on the IBM update page: (http://www-3.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/TPAD-MATRIX.html) in case things change. R. Kevin Oberman, Network Engineer Energy Sciences Network (ESnet) Ernest O.
