Sender: owner-freebsd-ports@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- I'd like to get STonX (the Atari ST emulator) up and running on my FreeBSD 2.2.2-RELEASE system. Unfortunately, I'm running into a bit of a snag (to put it mildly). The code compiles OK (except for a reference in x.c about SHMMAX, and I can fudge that easily enough based on my /sys/i386/conf/KERNEL config file and some of the /usr/include/machine/*.h headers, and anyway it looks like it's only used in a printf). However, when I try and run it, I get a "cannot allocate memory" (or similar) error. This happens with SMALL (in options.h) defined to 1 and 0. I've tried both the STonX port (in ftp.freebsd.org:/pub/FreeBSD/incoming) and just grabbing the STonX source off the internet (tried both the release and the current version), with the exact same results. My machine (2.2.2-RELEASE) is a AMD Am5x86 (aka P5-133, aka 486dx4/133) machine with 32 MB of physical RAM (and 64 MB swap). Any ideas? Please email me. Thanks! e release and the current version), with the exact same results.
