1) This is an inappropriate comment for a public list.

2) Dave runs UUCP and has done so for a long time, but
   don't get him started about being called "Dave" rather
   than "Thomas".

3) Once, long ago, newsfeeds were free. Dave is of that
   era, so are others here (I gave away dozens of
   free feeds, so did _many_ others).

4) Find out the difference between "leach", the process,
   and "leech", the animal, and, finally,

5) The question was quite reasonable, and if I were
   still running a UUCP site, I'd offer him a long-distance feed.
