Why not take out all the PCI descriptions and stick them in /usr/src/share/misc/pci.id.txt, they probably take up more room anyways. And what about that pesky license at boot? That takes up precious kernel space, and could easily be stuck in another external file. I'd love to see my Adaptec 7880 reported by it's number, and I'd die to see "Read /usr/share/doc/kernel.license.txt" at the top of my boot output. Not. :/ - alex To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
