I think this a "simple" upgrade is way way beyond an "average" user who just wants a better desktop. In any event would somew one please help me. Please. X will start as root but not as a user. I do not know were to start, what questions to ask. I have posted on the hardware list and tried what was suggested w/no luck. I've tried deleted, reinstalling, ect, no luck. I need someone to help me, be a detective please, as me questions! I have tried to not use win2k but spending weeks begging to make a simple upgrade work has me still using win2k vs. KDE. Would someone please help vs. me shotguning all over the place. Thanks, Lee To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
