For me, the same happens with openoffice-1.1 (version 1.1.2) on CURRENT: checking for XieFloGeometry in -lXIE... no checking for X11/extensions/XIElib.h... no configure: error: Could not compile basic X program. ===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly. Please direct the output of the failure of the make command to a file, and then feed that file to the gnomelogalyzer, available from http://www.freebsd.org/gnome/gnomelogalyzer.sh, which will diagnose the problem and suggest a solution. If - and only if - the gnomelogalyzer cannot solve the problem, report the problem to the FreeBSD GNOME team at gnome@FreeBSD.org, and attach "/usr/ports/editors/openoffice-1.1/work/mozilla/work/mozilla/config.log" and the output of the failure of the make command. That change must have broken heaps of ports which have been fixed since. So if someone could figure out how they did it, maybe it could be applied to the mozilla subport.
