At least once a day I get a message similar to: FreeBSD/i386 (ryturner.campus.vt.edu) (ttyv0) Oct 30 21:40:46 ryturner su: ryan to root on /dev/ttyp0 Oct 31 01:01:41 ryturner /kernel: pid 129 (natd), uid 0: excited on signal 11 (core dumped) I know that the natd.core file can tell me what is happening, but I am not sure how to use it. When I do "cat natd.core" I get a messed up screen. I am running a 486/66 with 32MB ram and 2 11.5gig ide drives. I am running 3.0-release. This mahine acts as a gateway for several computers.
