I have a Gateway 200MHZ Pentium Pro with 32 Meg. The install goes fine
doing an install from DOS files until it tries to write to the newly
created filesystem. It consistently gets a cannot write to filsystem
byte 1 of 1024 message. It tells me that no kernel is built.

I have been through all the help and the FreeBSD site and cannot find
this problem noted.

Is this a problem with the install or FreeBSD itself?

Thanks
John Benson
