I replied to this question the last time you asked it..guess you must not have seen my reply: I solved this problem by setting the environment variable: setenv FETCH_CMD "runsocks /usr/bin/fetch" in my ~/.cshrc (or whatever dotfile your shell reads on startup) Kris
