Sorry, what I mean is the TTF format is crossplatform. I've got the freetype module loading, I just have a bad fonts.dir in the TrueType directory. If I make it with mkfontdir, X 4.0.3 doesn't complain, but xfontsel doesn't show them. If I use ttmkfdir, X grumbles about the format and ignores the directory.
