But what I did find that I didn't realize was that I had an 11.9M file named Bonnie.(a number sequence). I don't know why it was there but I had removed Bonnie long ago and thus removed this file as well. This explained why / was running out of space. I was getting ready to repartition as I didn't know where else I could trim. Thanks for your help!
