The following reply was made to PR i386/88657; it has been noted by GNATS. From: "Eric, Wei-xuan Luo" <wxluo@ntnu.edu.tw> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, wxluo@ntnu.edu.tw Cc: Subject: Re: i386/88657: [bug] windows client hang when browsing a samba share which is on a nfs fs Date: Fri, 11 Nov 2005 15:14:25 +0800 After I reported a bug to Samba team, they give me some suggestions and comments. Thanks Allison (jra@samba.org) and Lendecke (vl@samba.org). It seems that there is a problem in file locking calls. After I set 'posix locking = no' in smb.conf, the file sharing works fine.
