boot0cfg -B will do that. man boot0cfg explains boot0cfg in detail.

The -t option will do that. Anyhow, I suggest giving OS-BS (from the
tools directory of the CD-ROM or any ftp mirror) a try.

Have a look at the /usr/ports/mail directory, several (installable) mail
readers are there. The classic console mailers in there are pine and
elm, with mutt as a more modern development.  Mutt is explained in great
detail at http://www.mutt.org/ . To learn more about pine,
http://www.washington.edu/pine/tutorial.4/ is a great tutorial.  Elm is
explained nicely in http://www.math.fu-berlin.de/~guckes/elm/ .
