So I now have about 200+ IP aliases on this FreeBSD 2.2.6 server. I can ping all of them from other machines on the network and Apache doesn't seem to have any problem with them. The only problem I have now is each morning I wake up and there are error messages like this for each IP alias: . . . sendmail[1930]: gethostbyaddr(192.168.0.250) failed: 1 sendmail[1930]: gethostbyaddr(192.168.0.251) failed: 1 . . . When I send mail directly on the server, I also get the same list of errors. Can someone tell me how I stop the errors. And maybe what does this mean?
