I had the same problem here with electriceyes. There is another
executable in the path with the same name ("/usr/bin/ee" the editor).
Did you try starting electriceyes by entering the full path
("/usr/X11R6/bin/ee") ?
If that works you can change the name of one of the executables.
I've renamend "/usr/X11R6/bin/ee" to "/usr/X11R6/bin/eeyes" because
"/usr/bin/ee" is reinstalled after a "make world".
