Did you try running 'pkg install python3'? /usr/bin/python is clearly Microsoft's modification while building the image, I can't help with that, unfortunately. But I ran into missing python3 issue few days ago and solved it by installing python3 package. It's jsut a meta package that creates symlinks with only a major version in the name: % pkg list python3 /usr/local/bin/2to3-3 /usr/local/bin/idle3 /usr/local/bin/pydoc3 /usr/local/bin/python3 /usr/local/bin/python3-config /usr/local/libdata/pkgconfig/python3.pc -- gonzo
