hello,

I was on FreeFall earlier and ran into the following problem:

freefall:gclarkii# ping srimain.srisoft.com
PING srimain.srisoft.com (207.90.208.225): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 207.90.208.225: icmp_seq=0 ttl=238 time=188.854 ms
64 bytes from 207.90.208.225: icmp_seq=1 ttl=238 time=209.467 ms
^C
--- srimain.srisoft.com ping statistics ---
3 packets transmitted, 2 packets received, 33% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 188.854/199.160/209.467 ms

freefall:gclarkii# telnet srimain.srisoft.com
Trying 198.66.103.161...
freefall:gclarkii#

Why does the DNS return both variables consistly, one to ping
and the other to telnet and rlogin???

Any ideas?

Gary
