I've been through the Porters Handbook, and am embarking on updating an existing port. The port in question is www/p5-AxKit, moving from 1.5 to 1.6. I've contacted the maintainer, but haven't heard back yet. I've got (apparently) working files, install, deinstall, etc, and a .diff file. Assuming I get to the point of submitting the changes, what are the prevailing words of wisdom or gotchyas to watch our for? While the Porters Handbook is pretty clear, the first time contributing is still a little scary. I goal is to NOT waste committers time with silly mistakes. :-) Thanks for your time, -=Chris To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
