Measure reintroduced to ban check, credit payments for online gambling

The former chairman of the House Banking Committee reintroduced a bill this week to ban the use of checks, credit cards and wire transfers to pay for Internet gambling. The bill by Rep. Jim Leach, R-Iowa, could be the vehicle Congress chooses to control Internet gambling, an industry with revenue that the Wall Street investment banking firm Bear, Stearns & Co. projects will climb from $1.48 billion last year to $6 billion by 2003.

Ru Paul, Bill Gates, and Roger Ebert are all struck by lightning on the same day. All three find themselves in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates. He thinks that if he picks it up, he can found a new company and become fabulously wealthy again. He bends down to pick up the quarter and POOF! Ru Paul disappears.

Casino Tip: Video Poker

Most poker games inside of our casinos are played with a standard 52-card deck. The cards are ranked according to the value of the number on the card or the value of the face. The ranking, from highest to lowest, goes as such: Ace (A), King (K), Queen (Q), Jack (J), 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. The ace can also be used to complete a low straight; A, 2, 3, 4, 5. As well as numbers and faces there are 4 different types of suits which are used to determine the value of a poker hand. These are: Spades (S), Clubs (C), Diamonds (D), Hearts (H).
