The firmware is not loaded. If I load what I believe to be the missing firmware, drm-legacy still does not work. I'll see if I can grab the git repository. BTW, with drm2 from base, one gets a pointer in dmesg to use drm-stable-kmod, which does not support my Radeon 6450 video card. -- Steve
