I'm using SpamAssassin 3.1.1 and upon startup I get the following error: [767] error: no connection to syslog available [767] error: _- unix dgram connect: Connection refused at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin/Logger/Syslog.pm line 79 I believe this is because I'm using syslog-ng vs. the standard syslog built in with FreeBSD 6.0. I tried to make sure the syslog-ng daemon load before SpamAssassin by changing the name of the startup script in /usr/local/etc/rc.d but to no avail...I still get that error upon startup. Once the system starts up - SpamAssassin is sending syslogs properly but I'd really like to solve the error. Thoughts? -Troy
