I only had time to cat a small audio file. But I do get mtx lock warnings when booting and rc tries to set the mixer. It seems that pcm/mixer.c holds one of its locks (see mixer_set(), around line 148), then somehow calls into the driver in hdac_command_send_internal() around line 1401 where it does an msleep(). You're not suppose to sleep while holding mutex (pcm/mixer's mtx is held at this point). I've placed the original driver with the patches applied at: http://people.freebsd.org/~deischen/hdac.tgz -- DE
