Hi, After the latest thread about firefox uris and so on (search for Thunderbird no longer viewing http URLs), I found that SMB maybe a bad name for that option. As we do official builds for firefox/thunderbird, I don't think that a plethora of options maybe of any interest. So, we may change from SMB to GNOME, maintain it as default disable, and put on this what is of interest for a gnome app in a gnome desktop. Apart of build without --disable-gnomevfs, --enable-pango will be also tried (this really need work, but I'm ENOTIME). With respect to thunderbird, we don't build with --disable-gnomevfs nor have gnomevfs2 on USE_GNOME. If thunderbird is using app registration or mime, this must be investigated, first in configure logs -- josemi
