-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Okay, I thought I had my Sony WaveLAN card working before. I solved the lockup problems due to the Sony Vaio pccard controller wanting an IRQ, and I fixed the IRQs in my pccard.conf. I insert the card and I get wi0: <WaveLAN/IEEE 802.11> at port 0x240-0x27f irq 3 slot 1 on pccard1 wi0: Ethernet address: 08:00:46:09:b4:b7 Seems all good. I'm thinking, LEET, my frickin card is working. It read the ethernet address out, and I can use wicontrol to change the settings (or so it seems). However, when I try to bind an IP address to it, I get # ifconfig wi0 10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 wi0: device timeout wi0: tx buffer allocation failed wi0: xmit failed and sometimes wi0: watchdog timeout When it does the watchdog timeout, it actually redetects the card as wi1, and then repeats wi2 etc. Any ideas ? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 7.0.3 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com> iQA/AwUBO1kDexo5ZtYoQIqXEQJzTgCeIAd+lDji4jn2qEq5kbwDECDx+1oAoPxx NIJNc5INU6TwoId75KYimZ6Z =6vy1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
