I would like to use an adaptec 2610SA SATA raid controller with FreeBSD 5.4. My research: http://lists.ooz.net/freebsd-hackers/?mid=19018 shows that aac_pci.c has this in it for 6.0, and there were some plans to backport it to 5.4 with a driver update ? Does anyone know the status of this ? I have looked in the 5.4 release notes, and did not see anything - where else can I look for this ? Thanks.
