"OPTIONS helpers" are those defined in Mk/bsd.options.mk. For details see t=

file, and Porters Handbook, Section 5.12.3. Options Helpers

But basically, you ought to be able to do:

<OPTIONNAME>_PORTDOCS=3Dblah instead of the if/BLAH=3D/endif block
