BTW, I have NIC installed. Ppp tries to figure out the MAC address of the interface with the current value of MYADDR. MYADDR defaults to `hostname`. If you've done a ``set ifaddr'' or if `hostname` isn't in your NICs netmask, ppp won't match it.
