After installing the os via an ftp site, I reboot the machine. After the initial power-up sequence, the hard-drive is not accessed to bring up the os. A blinking cursor in the uppper left-hand corner of the screen is all I see. I am a neophyte unix user, trying to upgrade my skill set for work and need unix on personal machine to experiment with. Any help/insights you can give will be appreciated. Regards, Steve A. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
