1) Post the output of "postconf -n"

2) Read the documentation:

alias_database (default: see "postconf -d" output)
The alias databases for local(8) delivery that are updated with
"newaliases" or with "sendmail -bi".=20

This is a separate configuration parameter because not all the tables
specified with $alias_maps have to be local files.=20

Examples:=20

alias_database =3D hash:/etc/aliases
alias_database =3D hash:/etc/mail/aliases
