The host is runnin' 2.2.5-STABLE. I've read various mailing thread 'bout the 3c589 and have tried to implement the various stuff, I've looked at the PAO stuff, but can't find drivers for the 562D. Here's a copy of my pccard.conf io 0x240-0x360 irq 3 5 10 11 13 15 memory 0xd4000 96k card "3Com Corporation" "3C562" config default "ep0" ? config 0x33 "sio2" ? config 0x22 "sio2" ? insert echo "3Com 3c562 inserted" insert /etc/pccard_ether ep0 -link0 link1 remove echo "3Com 3c562 removed" remove /sbin/ifconfig ep0 delete and the message I get all the time is : Apr 15 12:40:14 mcr2 cardd[182]: No card in database for "3Com Corporation" Apr 15 12:40:14 mcr2 cardd[182]: vers: "3C562D/3C563D" What did I miss... what is this "card database" ? It's probably a retorical question :-) I even tried to force the pccard to use the 3c589 drivers, but the message keeps comin' back. Can someone help me out ? TIA, Mike. -- Mike Crawfurd Telephone.
