No, if you don't need any of the new features in 7.x, you won't feel a=20 difference for the described operations. You don't have enough CPUs or=20 enough programs that do multithreading operations together with IO to=20 notice any difference at all. Some people say they can feel the difference in desktop applications=20 because of the new ULE scheduler, but I very much doubt it, probably a=20 psychological thing :) --------------enig6112050D82EC02B4EEBD8D53 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHriGfldnAQVacBcgRAnscAKDJapr/08JmKPRCK4mLIrpXu2Q1cQCgxyTH yNt5/A1GBucmFnQYOZFsNMg= =0GAf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig6112050D82EC02B4EEBD8D53--
