The card performs reasonably well for being an ATA controller, and the driver
is mature and well tested.  It's harder for me to comment on the management
apps since I never saw what was on the final CD.  At the very minimum it
should have a CLI tool and a Motif-based GUI for FreeBSD.  If you're lucky,
it will have a Java-based GUI for FreeBSD also.  The only thing I don't
like about the card is that you cannot hot-plug the drives.
