Great, thanks a lot!
No idea why/how (meaning I haven't searched for it in the makefiles), 
but this exactly restores previous behaviour and is what I wanted for my 
port.
So I'm _not_ forced to "spam" my options dialog, which was my bigest 
concern.

I'd love to see OPTIONS_SLAVE mentioned in the porters handbook!
