Before I can even get into the = installation the computer locks up. I tried it by just booting from the = CD-ROM and from floppies. When it starts to boot it goes past the boot prompt and locks up = immediately after the boot prompt leaves and displays the message that = comes after the boot prompt. I just bought FreeBSD 4.0- BSD = PowerPAK. Before I=20 can even get into the installation the computer locks up. I tried it by = just=20 booting from the CD-ROM and from floppies.
 
When it starts to boot it goes past the = boot prompt=20 and locks up immediately after the boot prompt leaves and displays the = message=20 that comes after the boot prompt.
 
Any help you can give would be=20 appreciated
