I have tried some debugging.

I've tried to modify the source in bsdinstall/unmount, since a previous pat=
ch I
sent was changed in a slightly bad fashion:

the "bsdinstall export" is done before the "bsdinstall unmount", which does=
n't
make sense to me.

That didn't work.

Then I tried to see if an explicit "umount /mnt/dev" and "umount /mnt/boot/=
efi"
would make a difference, but it didn't.
